The Williams Riley Band

About 2 years ago Benton and I took a road trip to Greenville, SC to meet some people that were interested in Signing Benton to their record label. Well that trip not only changed our lives, but we were blessed with some of the most amazing people who we now consider family. Benton is signed to a label called Golden Music based out of Greenville, SC. I am a native of SC and it will always be home to me, so the fact that Benton's label is based there is completely fitting and somewhat ironic. There are two artists on the label, Benton and a band called The Williams Riley Band. Over the past two years everybody related to Golden music has become very close. The music business can be crazy at times, actually it's crazy ALL the time. But, it's amazing to see how hard work and passion pays off. Even though I am not a musician, I get so emotional when I see my husband & friends achieve those goals they have worked so hard for. They have sacrificed so much to do what they do and their families the same. It's always an awesome thing to see the hard work develop into something. So, here are some good friends of mine, The Williams Riley Band and their new music video for their first radio single "I'm Still Me". TRULY AMAZING..

So, I have a wedding I will be blogging with in this next week, but this is truly too amazing for me to not blog about. This is Jeffrey "The Song Destroyer". Benton has seen his you tube performances on such artist as Edwin McCain and Mariah Carey. So he thought he would take a chance and email him and see if Jeffrey would "Destroy" one of his songs, and HE DID!!! check it out...IT IS AMAZING...HAHAH!

YES THESE ARE ALL PICTURES OF YOURS TRULY TAKEN BY THE LOVE OF MY LIFE AKA MY HUSBAND BENTON BLOUNT!! This weekend was Valentines Day, and I have never been one to go ALL out for Valentines. I was never that girl that always had a Valentine, I was that girl that NEVER had a valentine, and usually celebrated with a box of chocolates & a bottle of wine and cheered to all my friends and family. But the first Valentines Day I had with Benton was such a great memory, I will never forget it. A little background on our relationship, we met at a YMCA in North Carolina. We were both fitness instructors for "sister" YMCA's in the area. So he would come over and workout every once in a while. He started coming in more and more and the next thing you know all my co-workers know I have a crush on him and they are trying to get us together and strangely enough it worked. HAH! SOOO..on Valentines Day I walked into the fitness center for work and there are a dozen roses on my desk. I KNOW I KNOW.. it sounds cliche, but I have never been suprised like that with flowers and much less roses on Valentines, in a huge public place. It was so special and Benton's note said "I hope you are smiling today". Then we went to Olive Garden and I gave him Starbucks Coffee, and pink & red guitar pics..hah..It was soo perfect. It wasn't over the top, it wasn't candle light, it was truly all about us & being together. So as we are entering our 3rd year of marriage, he wanted to give me something special. So he got behind the camera and took pictures of ME! :) It was soo much fun to be on the other side of the camera and just have fun and be myself. These pictures truly exhibit me and my style. I love them sooo much! Benton is incredibly talented and did an amazing job. Although I did edit them, they are crazy good, and I just want to say thanks boo!! I love You!!!

MY BOOTCAMP BUDDY CRYSTAL

This past weekend I caught up with my friend Crystal who was a fellow bootcamp/ instructor at my old gym. Seriously this lady taught me how to get in peoples faces and make them cry.. he he! You would'nt tell it by the pictures, but she is serious in the gym and if you take one of her classes you will most likely be crying when you leave. JUST KIDDING..but no seriously she will make you cry..haha.. So we met up by my house and went out to my favorite shooting spot and grabbed some fun shots. The weather was awesome! It finally warmed up, and Crystal was a pro! It was a lot of fun and an awesome day to shoot.
